Today is not only New Year’s Day, but also the first day the bars you selected to “Bring Back” in 2013 are available for purchase! Bring Back My Bar voting protocol for January 2013 was different from any other in Scentsy history! It started with a primary election: you voted for your top three fragrances from a list of more than 250 retired fragrances. From there, the 30 fragrances with the most votes proceeded to the general election. After you casted your last three votes in the general election, the following 20 fragrances were winners—12 of which have never been brought back before!
1. Bananarama
2. Berry Blush
3. Carrot Cake
4. Cherry Almond Pie
5. Coconut Palm
6. Coffee Tree
7. Falling Leaves

Towards the end of 2011, I wrote a blog titled Apples to Apples and discussed the various challenges associated with producing a high quality, natural-smelling apple fragrance. At the time we were getting fairly close to finalizing Apple Press, a new addition to the Corner Café fragrance category in Scentsy’s Fall/Winter catalog. The challenge of delivering a natural-smelling, long-lasting and strong apple fragrance was a great opportunity to raise the bar in the home fragrance arena.
Some of you may remember or even still have a bar of Red Delicious (circa 2004)—it has even returned as a part of Bring Back My Bar. The new Apple Press has a fresher, bolder quality.. Think of the apple as a whole – from the stem, to the skin, to the juicy flesh with just a hint of Golden Delicious apple notes—resulting in a fragrance that reminds me most of a Gala apple. More importantly, this new version doesn’t have any “plastic” or “candy ...

It’s officially summertime, at least in our neck of the high-desert in Idaho. It’s a great time of year and adding to the excitement of the sunny season is the return of Bring Back My Bar. As you know, this summer’s BBMB makes 20 discontinued Scentsy bars available for the month of July. Participation was phenomenal this time around: nearly 4 million votes (not a typo — whoa) were cast by dedicated fans of these fragrances. There’s a lot to like about BBMB—the return of old fragrances (and the memories associated with them); the chance for Consultants and customers to participate in the voting process; new customers experiencing old fragrances; and the option to purchase the whole set at a discount.
Need some ideas for making the most of BBMB? Here are a couple of ways you might incorporate BBMB into parties this July.

With so much fervor going on in the national political arena, it’s fun to switch gears and celebrate a voting process that’s competitive, but always good-natured! Scentsy’s Bring Back My Bar (BBMB) semi-annual election had 246 candidates which shared a whopping total of 5,086,925 votes. In the end, 20 candidates demonstrated Scentsy customer loyalty as only Scentsy fragrances can. So without further ado, I present the winners of the Bring Back My Bar (BBMB) vote that will be available for purchase on January 1, 2012:
1
Amaretto
2
Berries and Bubbly
3
Bubblegum

Approximately 18 some odd months ago we realized that we were in a unique predicament - people were absolutely in love with Scentsy fragrances. And really, can you blame them? With scents ranging from Fried Ice Cream to Fresh Cut Grass, there really is a fragrance for everyone! But therein lay our predicament; the selection of wickless, highly scented fragrances that Scentsy Consultants offer changes every six months. So customers fell in love with a favorite fragrance only to discover (cue the scary music) that their favorite-can’t-live-without fragrance was about to be discontinued and separation anxiety would set in.
The imminent retirement of fragrances often inspired hoarding and frantic requests to Consultants—bribes are not unheard of—for those last few bars. That deep connection with fragrance is part of what has made Scentsy so successful.
So we had to come up with a plan. After hours and weeks of deliberation and research, and more deliberation and research, we found ...
