Scentsy Celebrates Together

On March 8, 1908, 15,000 women marched through New York City, demanding shorter work hours, better pay and voting rights. Since then, March 8 has evolved into International Women’s Day, an annual celebration that marks a call to action for accelerating gender equality. International Women’s Day doesn’t belong to just one organization or network of women — it’s a collective day of unity, reflection, advocacy and action celebrated around the globe. In fact, the day is an official holiday in 28 countries.

Each year, corporations, charities, educational institutions and other organizations hold events for International Women’s Day including conferences, festivals, fun runs, corporate events, concerts, online digital gatherings and more.

So, what does all this have to do with Scentsy?
At Scentsy, 96 percent of our Consultants are women. That’s almost 125,000 female entrepreneurs worldwide! These women are helping to support their families, paying for an education, giving back to their communities and being positive role models for their children.

We know women wear a lot of hats and have a lot on their plates. Scentsy provides the flexibility to set their own schedule — working while the kids are napping or at school, working after their day jobs or diving into their Scentsy business full-time. This flexibility is what attracts more and more women every day to the Scentsy business opportunity.

Each day, we equally celebrate our Scentsy men who are heavily involved in Scentsy either as Consultants, a spouse and at the home office. But today, we celebrate the Scentsy Sisterhood that appeals to everyone from stay-at-home moms to corporate career-women looking to connect with other women, embrace an underlying entrepreneurial spirit and create lifelong friendships.
