There’s a fleeting moment when a particular fragrance catches your notice. It’s unexpected and unheralded. And then, wham! Verdant forests, lush gardens, a hobby workshop, warm kitchens and tables nobody wants to leave.
Fragrance has an almost mystical power. It bypasses the conscious mind and travels directly to the center for memory and emotion. Experts call this a Proustian moment, named for French writer Marcel Proust who described how a tea-dipped biscuit unlocked memories of his lost childhood world.

For September’s Whiff Box, Scentsy’s founding family — the Thompsons — composed seven original fragrances, seven paths home through fragrance. Because home lives differently in each of us, even when we shared the same place.
