In the beloved Disney film Lilo & Stitch, Lilo uses a camera to forever capture memories. The candid snapshots tell a unique story as a photo collage filling Lilo’s bedroom wall — each representing her desire to preserve the people and things around her.
The memory-fragrance connection
Just as photographs capture visual memories, fragrances have incredible power to transport us to specific moments in time. For example, citrus scents might conjure memories of beach vacations, while cinnamon and vanilla might recall childhood holidays. The connection between fragrance and memory is what makes Scentsy’s Disney Lilo & Stitch Collection so special, with products and fragrances designed to create and complement treasured memories.
New products in the collection include a Disney Lilo – Scentsy Buddy! The Buddy sports a swimsuit under a colorful muumuu and comes with a Scent Pak in our new Disney Lilo & Stitch: Aloha Adventure fragrance. Our new Scrump – Scentsy Buddy Clip is based on a cherished homemade ragdoll from the film. There’s also a Scentsy Charm Clip inspired by Experiment 626 (aka Stitch)! The collection’s playful products and island-inspired scents create new sensory memories for your ohana!

Here are ideas to create your own display.
Classic collage
Channel Lilo’s style with a wall randomly covered in instant camera photos and printed snaps. Pin pics directly to a wall or cork board for a spontaneous, organic vibe. Try using washi tape, character clips and shaped thumbtacks for a more colorful look. The beauty of this approach is flexibility — add new photos anywhere, anytime for an ever-evolving work of art and memory.
Curated gallery
For a more refined display, select favorite photos and art prints in varying sizes. Install them in coordinating frames. Include mats in neutral colors. Arrange the frames in either a free-form or structured gallery style. Either way, aim for 3″ to 6″ around all sides of each frame. Leave more space around larger frames and group smaller pictures closer together for a polished look that showcases key personal moments. Before hanging your frames, cut out newsprint or butcher paper in the size of your frames and tape to the wall to perfect the layout.

Memory board
Combine photos with mementos, artwork, ticket stubs, name tags, souvenirs and other meaningful items. A large cork board, magnetic sheet or large shadow box allows you to create a truly multi-dimensional memory display. Include your children’s drawings, pressed flowers from special occasions, postcards from travels, playbills and sports programs, keychains, buttons or even a completed Scentsy coloring page!
Seasonal change
Create seasonal memory walls. Start fresh with a board each season and gradually fill it with special moments. Add images of seasonal flora and fauna, hand-lettered quotes that symbolize the season and sprinkle with festive holiday decorations. Snap a picture of the completed wall before seasonal transitions for a meta-memory. Save in an album for a yearly diary.
Get started
Select a wall area that you’ll see regularly, in a living room, hallway or den. Gather your supplies, including photo frames, cork boards, magnetic strips, tacks and washi tape. Set aside time to create complementary art to add to your boards or wall. Schedule monthly photo days with family and friends and keep your phone handy for spontaneous snaps. Add a sensory element like Scentsy fragrance to enhance your memory wall experience. Fragrances solidify memories, help evoke feelings and complement the season.

A memory wall becomes more than just decoration. It’s a visual representation of your life’s story, enhanced by the powerful connection between scent and memory.
