A Weighted & Warming Scentsy Buddy has all the things you love about our plush Scentsy Buddies. Like the original Hamish, this new version is just as soft and cuddly. He has a scent pouch in the back so you can add your favorite Scent Pak fragrance — whatever scent will help you relax.
There are a few things that set this version of Hamish apart. He’s weighted with ceramic beads in his arms, legs and quilted tummy. This design provides comfort like a hug from a friend.
Because a Weighted & Warming Scentsy Buddy can be warmed in the microwave, Hamish can also help soothe stress and ease aches. He’s designed to lie flat over arms, legs, back or chest — similar to a heating pad but so much cuter.
Wondering if Hamish is kid-friendly? He’s suitable for all ages, but adult supervision is recommended for young children. And keep in mind for very little ones, a Warming & Weighted Scentsy Buddy weighs 3.25 pounds.
How do I use a Weighted & Warming Scentsy Buddy?
To heat a Weighted & Warming Scentsy Buddy, following these steps:
- Remove the Scent Pak.
- Place the Buddy inside the microwave and start with one minute (remove the metal rack if your microwave has one).
- Continue in 30-second intervals until reaching your desired warmth up to a maximum of two minutes.
Make sure to carefully remove Hamish from the microwave — he might be a little too hot to handle.
Remember: Unlike Hamish, our Truman the Terrier Weighted Scentsy Buddy has a metal zipper on his scent pouch, so the microwave would not be his friend.
How do I care for a Weighted & Warming Scentsy Buddy?
Hand-washing is the recommended way to keep your Buddy fresh and clean. If necessary, you can machine wash and air dry, but don’t forget to remove the Scent Pak.
