We’re all guilty of having a cheeky drink every now and then – they’re the best way to relax with friends after a long week. Do you remember your first legal drink? I’m sure your taste in alcohol has changed since then so whatever your tipple of choice is, why not give a few new drinks a go, they might become your new favorites! Fans of our Let’s Dance Brick Collection have. In the spirit of our Let’s Dance Brick Collection, available now for a limited time, we’d like to share recipes for three yummy drinks that lend a refreshing taste to summer. Cheers!
Strawberry Cosmopolitan
Servings: 1
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 lime wedge
- ice cubes
- 6 tablespoons strawberry puree
- 2 tablespoons simple syrup
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 strawberry, cut in half
To give your cosmo a kick, add 2 ounces vodka per serving.
Directions
Sprinkle sugar on saucer or small plate. Rub rim of chilled martini glass with lime wedge to moisten; dip rim of glass in sugar. In cocktail shaker with ice, shake strawberry puree, simple syrup and lime juice until blended. Pour into glass, straining out ice. Garnish with strawberry.
Mojito
Servings: 1
Ingredients
- 8 mint leaves
- 3 ounces lime juice
- 1-1/2 ounces sugar syrup
- crushed ice
- 2 ounces club soda
- extra mint leaves or lime wedges
To maximize your mojito, add 1-1/2 ounces white rum per serving.
Directions
In the bottom of a pint glass, lightly mash the mint leaves, lime juice and sugar syrup using a muddle stick or wooden pestle, being careful not to tear the leaves. Add ice. Top with club soda. Garnish with mint leaves or lime wedges.
Lemon Drop
Servings: 2
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup lemon drops candy
- 1 lemon
- 2 shots lemonade concentrate
- 1/2 shot lemon juice
- 4 oz. lemon-lime soda
- 8 ice cubes
To liven up your lemon drop, add one tablespoon vodka per serving.
Directions
Pulverize lemon drops in food processor. Cut lemon and rub around the edges of two martini glasses, then dip the rims in the lemon drops. Mix lemonade concentrate, lemon juice, lemon-lime soda, and ice cubes in food processor with the remaining lemon drops. Pour and serve.
