When you hear the word “wassail”, the first thing that comes to mind could be those jolly holiday carolers, wassailing from home to home. But the world also refers to the traditional drink consumed by carolers to keep them warm on the wintry streets.
We love fragrance-inspired recipes, especially during the holidays. So, when straight apple cider or hot cocoa just aren’t hitting the spot, consider this festive Scentsy fragrance:
Maple Apple Bourbon
Juicy red apple and rich maple to get in holiday spirit with a splash of bourbon
You can get it in a Scentsy Bar, Scent Circle, or Room Spray – and we suggest you do – but this scent was also begging to be transformed into a delicious holiday drink! And because we love tradition almost as much as we adore fragrance, we thought we’d bring the two together in one party-ready, nostalgic treat: Maple Apple Bourbon Wassail.
There are three major reasons to make this festive recipe for your next holiday party:
- It tastes amazing and oh-so Christmassy.
- It warms you from the inside out.
- As it simmers on the stove, it fills your entire home with its mouth watering scent!
Take your party up a notch in five minutes flat – that’s about all it takes to throw the ingredients together. Just be sure to give yourself enough time before guests arrive to let them simmer to perfection and fill your home with fragrance.
