At Scentsy, we’re all about sharing, and Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to share love!
But rather than limiting ourselves to just one day, we’re celebrating a whole YEAR of sharing love with our nearest and dearest. Will you join us?
You can start by making lists of the things your loved ones enjoy, like going for walks, scavenger hunts or a special day out on the town. Now keep those handy for our first share-the-love idea, listed below with a couple more suggestions for year-round recognition:
Experience togetherness!
Make an activity jar for spontaneous fun! To start, gather 52 small pieces of paper (12 red and 40 white) and label each one with a favorite or new activity. Save the red pieces of paper for extra-special activities and only open one of those a month, and then label the white pieces with more everyday (but still fun!) activities to choose from weekly. Next, fold each piece of paper in half, and then decorate a Mason jar to put the paper in. Every week, have your Valentine pick a random paper from the jar (remember, they can only choose red once a month!) and do the activity together!
Picture it!
If a picture is indeed worth a thousand words, then photographs are a perfect way to say “I love you!” Choose 12 photos, one for each month of the year, showing you and your Valentine during a memorable time, or maybe a great moment they may have forgotten. Want to make it extra special? Include a handwritten note with each photo explaining why it stands out to you. Then, put each one in a handcrafted envelope and label it with the month it should be opened. Be sure to open the envelopes together and enjoy reconnecting over lunch or date night!
Open it when … !
Even when you’re away from your loved one, you can still be there in spirit when they need a pep talk, laugh or a reminder of how special they are. Make a list of “Open it when … ” moments, then write a customized note for each one or even choose a memento that says it all. Place each note in a separate envelope with a label on it, such as “Open it when you miss me” or “Open it when you’re having a rough day.” Decorate each envelope to make the gesture even sweeter!
Snuggle time!
Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Sweetie Pie the Lamb offers her heart and an adorable pink flower with heart-shaped petals for you and your someone special. A velvety polka-dot pattern lines her ears, topped with a festive dark pink bow. Magnets help her clasp her hands together to “hold” her cherished flower. Whether cuddling up for a movie night with your Valentine or tucking in for a bedtime story, invite this little cutie along to share love and snuggles for years to come!
