Meet Scentsy’s most paw-pular employees

We’re celebrating National Pet Day with our new Woof Box and Cat-titude Kits, and with a walk through Scentsy’s celebrity crib … um, kennel!

Scentsy Commons is our stunning 73-acre headquarters in Meridian, Idaho. With lush grass, vibrant landscaping, serene walking paths and tranquil ponds, it’s delightful for our employees and visitors … and a magnet for the local Canada geese.

Enter Scentsy’s pooch posse — a fluffy and energetic bunch with a very important job! Along with their human assistants, the dogs ensure geese don’t overrun the beautiful campus (don’t worry – no geese are harmed in the pursuit of their duties). See the dogs in action in this fun video:

The dogs — Poppy, Jimmy and Jake — might be just a bit spoiled, admits Security Specialist Keishun Coates. They get multiple daily play sessions with acres to run and roam, lots of pets and all the bones and rawhides they can chew.

The security team even comes to campus on holidays and days off to look after the hard-working and hard-playing pooches.

“They’re like our second family, for sure,” Coates said.

Besides chasing an “unlimited supply” of tennis balls tossed by Coates and the rest of Scentsy’s security team, the three-dog entourage has a crucial side hustle. They regularly patrol warehouses and manufacturing facilities on campus.

Poppy and Jimmy are littermates from Scentsy’s first campus dog, Izzy (who retired to one of the security team’s homes), said Security Manager Marsh Anderson. Jake is the newcomer.

Title: Chief Goose Chaser
Stats: Poppy is the smallest of the crew, but she is the boss of the pack. As you might guess from her nickname, she’s black and white!
Collar: Beige
Favorite activity: Going on paw-trol in the security golf cart!

Stats: Jimmy never met a human he didn’t like. Delightfully floofy and derpy with one ear that stands up and one that flops over.

Favorite activity: ANYTHING involving a tennis ball … and pets!
