Winter is a special mix of cozy comforts, red cheeks during snowy outdoor activities and, of course, festive cheer. We give gifts, gather with those we love and embrace a new year and fresh beginnings. Even after the high holidays are over, there’s still so much to make this a magical season.
Print out our winter bucket list of enticing ideas and fill the end of winter with fun and joy.
Be of service
Think of a service project, organize it and get it done. Or volunteer somewhere that really needs help. After all, it is the season of giving. Not sure where to start? Find service project ideas and volunteer opportunities.
Bake a sweet treat
It may be a little late for a full-on gingerbread house, but spiced cookies iced to perfection and dunked in cocoa are a winter classic. Treat yourself to a little indulgence with a homemade sugar cookie and a glass of milk. Of course, treats are best when shared.
Decorate
Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and New Year have come and gone, but it’s still winter! Embrace the season with décor to match. Bring the frosty outdoors inside. Spring will be here soon enough. Think icy whites and blues, layered warm textiles and frosted pine. Strategically adding Scentsy Warmers will build a seasonal glow.
Fresh scents
A new home fragrance might be just the thing to propel you through the rest of winter until spring arrives. We sometimes get stuck in a fragrance rut. Try out something novel! Scentsy’s seasonal fragrance lineup is deep. Give Silver Bells a sniff or perhaps Artic Kiss. Your Scentsy Consultant will have ideas and samples!
Meaningful mail
Gather crafting paper, glue, markers and scissors. Then, get the kids (and you) to make winter greeting cards to send. Wish relatives and friends near and far the best for the new year. Let them know you care, even after Christmas. Personalized, heartfelt messages in the mailbox become little treasures we keep.
Winter watching
Pop some popcorn, grab the coziest blankets in the house and gather ’round the screen to enjoy films that celebrate winter. Queue up Disney’s Frozen, Snow Day or Happy Feet.
Fresh air
Suit up and head out. Layer on coats, boots, mittens and scarves, and embark on an afternoon nature walk. Make a winter check list to keep everyone engaged. Look for pinecones, snowmen, mourning doves, bright berries and icicles. Let the kids gather evergreens and other items to decorate the mantle or entry table.
Room redo
We spend so many hours indoors during the winter, especially with longer dark hours. Spend early evenings refreshing a room that needs a little updating. It’s utterly amazing what a fresh coat of paint, new window treatments or on-trend accessories can do for a space. If you’re not ready for a daunting remodel, add a handful of seasonal décor touches and check the vibe.
Snow day
The white stuff won’t last forever, so make the most of it! Think snow angels, sled ramps, igloos and snow forts. Just remember that if you craft a snow fort, a friendly snowball battle is required. We don’t make the rules.

Cocoa party
Take hot chocolate to the next level! Set up a hot cocoa bar with whipped cream, flavored syrups, candy canes, marshmallows and fun toppings. Everyone gets to customize their own cup from chocolate sprinkles to caramel drip. Embrace winter’s bite with this simple and indulgent activity.
Finish out this season with a flourish — print out this winter bucket list and start checking things off. There are enough ideas here to keep you busy until the first flowers of spring emerge. But we’ve got even more winter activities to try.
