Every year around this time, the same debate lights up social media. Is it too early for pumpkin spice? The coffee shops haven’t even rolled out the pumpkin spice latte and the internet is split into two camps.
Team August says bring it on, the sooner (and pumpkinier) the better.
Team September says slow it down and let summer sizzle a while.
Let’s take a vote:
PSL: Too early or right on time?
Cast your vote!
Fall feeling
Here’s our hot, spiced take. Pumpkin spice isn’t really about the weather. It’s about the feeling. A bit of cinnamon and some gourdy goodness promises coziness and the slower pace of autumn. Bottom line? It’s never too early to start sprinkling a little pumpkin spice magic, even if you’re still wearing flip-flops and the AC dial is pegged on high.
For PSL connoisseurs, fragrance is the most chill way to ease into pumpkin spice season without fully committing to flannel and a harvest wreath on the front door.
An Etched Sage or Morchana Marble Warmer will transition easily from summer into fall.
Pair it with fragrances with notes of maple, brown sugar and pumpkin seeds, or the traditional pumpkin and fall spice notes of sandalwood.
Stay in the sun

Summer savorers, there are still many fragrant ways to hold on to the sunny season. Grab a beach towel, slip on your shades and sip on something frosty!
The sculpted lemons and leaves on the Amalfi Limone Warmer feel like a sunny getaway on the Italian Coast.
Pair it with bright and zesty fragrances like Wild Citrus & Sugarcane, Lemon Sugar & Sage or Sunkissed Citrus.
Team both
If you can’t pick a side, no worries. The best part of a scent swap is you don’t have to choose between flip-flops and flannel, just switch the wax and let your nose decide.
And of course, there’s always layering! For example, combine juicy Black Raspberry Vanilla with something warm, like Cinnamon Vanilla. It’s the scent equivalent of wearing sandals and shorts with a sweater.
If you’re team early-bird, team wait-it-out or something in between, seasonal Scentsy fragrances will meet you where you are.
