What size/watt lightbulb does my Warmer take?

It depends on the Warmer you have. Different Scentsy Warmers take lightbulbs with different watts.

Where can I find the watt information on my Warmer?

Lightbulb watt information is on a sticker on the bottom of every Scentsy Warmer.

What if my Warmer doesn’t have the sticker on it anymore?

You have a few options. If you have a Scentsy catalog, flip through it to see if your Warmer is there. (You can also check the most current online catalog.) If it is, the product details will include the watt you need. If you don’t see your Warmer, or if you don’t have a catalog, contact your Scentsy Consultant. If you don’t have a Consultant, find one near you at scentsy.com.

Can I use a different bulb watt in my Warmer? What about a different brand?

We recommend using the same bulb watt your Warmer was designed to use. Using a bulb with higher wattage can be dangerous and can potentially damage your Warmer, as well as shorten the fragrance life of your Scentsy Bar. We also recommend using a Scentsy Lightbulb. Using a different brand of lightbulb will not void the warranty, just check the packaging to ensure you are using the correct wattage, shape, and size indicated.  Altering your Warmer in any way by using the incorrect wattage bulb can void your product warranty.

What do I do if my Diffuser lights go out?

Diffuser lights are part of the Diffuser base and cannot be removed. If your Diffuser lights are not working, you will likely need a new base. Contact your Scentsy Consultant for assistance. If you don’t have a Consultant, find one near you at scentsy.com. In the meantime, learn about our Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Do I need a lightbulb for my Element Warmer?

No. Scentsy Element Warmers, or warmers that use a heating element, do not contain lightbulbs, so no replacements are needed!

Do you have a replacement bulb for my . . . Lyric, Moonstone, or Tiger’s Eye Warmer?

These warmers are unique in that they use a multicolored LED light. Replacing this light means you’d have to replace the Warmer, too. Contact your Scentsy Consultant for assistance. If you don’t have a Consultant, find one near you at scentsy.com.

Do Night Light and Mini Warmers use the same bulb?

Yes. All Scentsy Mini Warmers take the 15-watt Scentsy Lightbulb.

Do you have a chart that lists the warmers and bulbs together?

Yes we do! However it only dates back to our Fall/ Winter 2015 Catalog Season. Here it is: Scentsy Lightbulb Chart

What bulb do the Carrera warmer and In the Shadows warmers take? These are newer products and not listed on the bulb sheet.

    • Scentsy

Hi Nell, the Carrara Warmer uses a 25 watt light bulb, and the In the Shadows Warmer uses a 40 watt Edison light bulb.

  2. william watkins

I have the basic scentsy wax warmers (25 watt) and want to put colored bulbs in them . where can I get them an will a G 40 work

    • Scentsy

Hi William, we only recommend using the same watt bulbs as supplied with the Warmer for the best fragrance experience. Using a higher watt bulb is not recommended and may void its lifetime warranty.

  3. William D Watkins

No i dont want to change the wattage, i want too use 25 watt colored bulbs

  4. sim

Hello, is it possible to use a 7-watt candelbara-base night light bulb in the Scentsy warmers—knowing that using non-Scentsy lightbulbs may void the warranty? Or is 15-watt necessary to melt the wax? Thank you.

    • Scentsy

We recommend using 15 watt bulbs with the Mini Warmers to ensure that the wax can get warm enough to melt.

  5. Samantha

  7. Becky

Can I use a 25 watt bulb in a Edison warmer?

    • Scentsy

Hi Becky, we typically recommend only using the bulb size that the Warmer comes with for the best experience.

  8. Tina

What about decreasing the wattage? Mine uses 25 watts and I would like to go dimmer

    • Scentsy

Hi Tina, we recommend using the wattage printed on the bottom of the Warmer, but you can safely go down in wattage without voiding the warranty. ?

  9. Francine

How do you change the bulb in the Little Garden warmer? The bottom plate has a screw with a nut on it, and no information about bulb watt size.

    • Scentsy

Hi Francine. There is no bulb for that, it’s an element warmer. If it is no longer working, please reach out to your Consultant.

  12. Aimee

    Hi.
I have a flower vine warmer which I think is about 5 years old now. Do you know if you can change the bulb in these. There is a nut and a screw in the bottom but not sure if this is bulbs or an element warmer?

    • Scentsy

Hi Aimee. You will not need to unscrew anything. The bulb would just need to be loosened by hand by twisting it counterclockwise. It uses a 25 watt bulb.

  13. Kay

I have an older burner Its daisy warmer, and the bulb does not screw in like regular bulb, it has like prong that plugs in. Where can I get one?
