Scentsy Warmers can be more than just a way to melt wax. Warmers that use a light bulb provide a decorative accent that can light up a room and add calming ambiance to any space. So, it’s important to know how to swap out the light bulbs that make this all possible. It’s no wonder so many people ask us “What size are Scentsy light bulbs?” The truth is: It depends!
How to find the right bulb for your Scentsy Warmer
Scentsy Warmers come in all shapes and sizes, and different designs require different light bulbs. That’s why we put a sticker on the bottom of every warmer we ship, labeled with the exact specifications for the bulbs they use. Threw away the sticker? No problem! The catalog your warmer was featured in lists its exact requirements. And of course, you can always ask your Scentsy Consultant. Don’t have a Consultant? Find one at scentsy.com.
Why use Scentsy Light Bulbs?
All Scentsy Warmers are designed with a keen eye for quality and function — and the same can be said of the light bulbs they use. Wattages are carefully selected to melt wax safely — and get the most out of your Scentsy Bars. Replacing the Scentsy Light Bulb in your warmer with a generic brand can result in wax melting too quickly, reducing the lifespan of your Scentsy Bars. In some situations, a generic bulb may heat your warmer to unsafe temperatures. For these reasons, choosing to use another type of bulb could void your warmer’s warranty.
What bulbs do mini warmers use?
Scentsy Mini Warmers keep things simple. All mini warmers use the same 15-watt Scentsy Light Bulb.
LED Scentsy Warmers
Some unique items, like the Moonstone and Tiger’s Eye warmers, use a multi-colored LED light. In these special situations, replacing the light means having to replace the warmer as well. Contact your Scentsy Consultant for assistance.
