I scream, you scream, let’s ditch the ice cream!

Skip the melty mess for a fun alternative treat!

At Scentsy, we encourage you to embrace your life just the way it is.

The perfectly imperfect crazy-hot-mess-of-a-life that is yours and yours alone. But let’s be honest. Some days are crazier, hotter and messier than you bargained for. You can barely muster the will to survive it, let alone the grace it takes to embrace it.

Like those dead-of-summer days when the kids are out of school and it’s literally too hot and too messy for your go-to bribe for good behavior, the ice cream cone. What do you do with all the cones you stocked up on? You know, back in early June? When the summer of your dreams was a neat and tidy fantasy of family bonding and fuss-free fun straight out of mom’s Good Housekeeping?

When summer gives you lemons, you make lemonade. When summer gives you ice cream cones (but melts the ice cream), you make ice cream cone treats. All of the bribing power, none of the sticky mess. Plus, the kids will go giddy for this unexpected surprise.

Here are some ideas to get you started. We’re pretty sure you’ll think of more. (Fair warning: so will the kids.)

Fresh fruit in a cone: Cut up their favorites for a healthy snack they can help assemble.

Popcorn: Cure their craving for crunch and keep the sugar at bay.

Crispy rice treats: Use your regular recipe, then roll into a ball and scoop into a cone. Up the fun factor with colorful sprinkles.

PB&J: Take a break from begging them to eat their crust. Everybody wins.

Yogurt and granola: Get them out of bed by announcing: “Ice cream for breakfast!”

Treat yourself, too!
