Scentsy Wax Bars are the perfect way to fill your life with fragrance — without having to worry about smoke and open flames! If you’re unfamiliar with melting scented wax, it can be hard to know where to start. How do I warm the wax? How much wax is enough? What do I do when the fragrance fades? Don’t worry, this guide has everything you need to know to start melting Scentsy Bars and enjoying fragrance to the fullest:
Break out those bars
The wax in Scentsy Bars is conveniently segmented into cubes that can easily be broken off for use. While you can warm a single cube, we recommend breaking off two or more! A larger volume of melting wax creates a more full-bodied scent, helping top and mid fragrance notes linger longer. So don’t be afraid to load up on wax! The only limit is how much your Scentsy Warmer can hold!
Pick your warmer
You should have a Scentsy Warmer or Mini Warmer ready to melt your wax! The style of warmer you use should match the space you’d like to fill with fragrance. Standard and Element Warmers are perfect for living rooms, kitchens and other moderately sized spaces, while Mini Warmers are best suited for smaller areas like bathrooms and hallways.
Warm it up
Drop your desired number of cubes into your Scentsy Warmer’s dish and turn it on. The warmer’s low-watt light bulb or heating element will begin slowly melting the wax, releasing long-lasting fragrance. That’s all there is to it!
Clean it up
Depending on environmental factors, one round of wax can fill your space with fragrance for days! When you’re ready to melt more or switch up your scent, turn off the warmer and clean out the melted wax from the dish. This can be easily done with a cotton pad, so you can get right back to enjoying your favorite scents or try something new!
Mix it up
When you’ve mastered the art of melting wax and start feeling adventurous, feel free to get experimental! You can mix different Scentsy Bars to create truly unique fragrances that speak to your personality. This guide has all you need to know to take your wax-melting game to the next level!
