It’s no secret: Many Scentsy fragrances smell sweet enough to eat!
Unfortunately, NOTHING we make is meant to be consumed — even if you’re especially tempted by a certain Scentsy Bar. But every once in a while, our fragrance lineup smells so delicious that we just have to come up with recipes that feature their key ingredients.
Yes, there are plenty of decadent bakery-inspired treats to be explored, but in celebration of spring, we decided to try drink recipes for on-the-go breakfasts or your first garden party of the season!
To start, here are the springtime scents that inspired our recipes. They’re available in all kinds of fragrance products, including Scentsy Bars:
- Tropic Tango
Get in the groove with tangelo zest, mango puree and coconut milk.
- Now & Zen
Sunny grapefruit balances calming chamomile in a yin and yang kind of love story.
- Bee My Honey
Pineapple rings topped with sweet honey and jasmine blossom make a treat fit for a queen.
Each of the recipes below makes one sweet, Scentsy-fied drink. Pick your favorite or try them all and ring in the brightest, most beautiful spring ever:
Tropic Tango Smoothie
Inspired by Scentsy’s Tropic Tango.
- 1 cup pineapple, fresh or frozen
- 1 cup frozen mango
- 1 banana
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 2 tangerines, peeled
- 1 inch fresh ginger, peeled and grated
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- Pinch of ground cinnamon
Toss all the ingredients except the cinnamon into a blender. Blend until smooth, pour into a glass, then sprinkle the cinnamon on top. Enjoy!
Now & Zen Paloma
Inspired by Scentsy’s Now & Zen.
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 chamomile tea bag
- 3 oz. fresh grapefruit juice (about half a grapefruit)
- 2 oz. tequila (optional)
- 4 fresh-sliced strawberries
- Sparkling water
- Crushed ice
To make the chamomile honey syrup, combine water and honey in a small saucepan and bring to a low boil. Simmer for about a minute, then remove from heat. Add the tea bag, cover and steep for 5-10 minutes. Remove the tea bag and allow the syrup to cool completely.
Combine the grapefruit juice, tequila (if desired) and strawberries in a glass. Add two or three tablespoons of chamomile honey syrup. Drop in a handful of ice, then top off with sparkling water. Stir, then start sipping!
Bee’s Knees Citrus Smoothie
Inspired by Scentsy’s Bee My Honey.
- 1 cup pineapple (fresh or frozen)
- 1 navel orange
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened shredded coconut
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 handful spinach
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1 mint leaf (optional)
Toss all the ingredients into a blender. Blend until smooth, pour into a glass, then drizzle a bit more honey and drop a mint leaf on top. Drink up!
