Interested in becoming an Independent Scentsy Consultant?

Whether you’ve just discovered Scentsy or are a long-time fan, you may be considering becoming an Independent Scentsy Consultant. Starting your own Scentsy business is an exciting opportunity that you can truly make your own! Of course, you may feel uneasy about taking the leap into any new experience, especially when you don’t know what to expect. That’s why we’ve put together this guide to help you understand the new Consultant experience:

Start off with a bang

The moment you sign up at Scentsy.com/join you’ll receive a welcome video from Co-CEOs Heidi and Orville Thompson, as well as a checklist to help you get started! You’ll also gain access to your Consultant Workstation — a virtual office filled with training tools, marketing assets and more, all designed to help you grow your business. By the time you receive your Starter Kit and familiarize yourself with all the exciting Scentsy products inside, you’ll be ready to hit the ground running.

Hit milestones and earn awards

As a new Consultant, you’ll earn a 20% commission on all your personal sales every month. After your first $1000 USD in sales, your commission will jump to 25%! This is a great first milestone to set your sights on at the outset of your Scentsy journey. If you’re particularly ambitious, you can strive for the Shooting Star and Scentsational Start awards — both exclusively available to new Consultants!

Receive ongoing support

All Scentsy journeys are authentically unique — you decide the hours you work, who you sell to and whether or not you recruit a team of your own. No matter the path you take, the Scentsy home office team is here to support you. For example, you’ll be able to call, email or chat with the experts on our Consultant Support team, who are available to answer your questions or concerns. You’ll also have the opportunity to attend events like Scentsy World Tour and Scentsy Family Reunion, which feature high-level training  focused on professional development and direct selling strategies. Become part of a community

When you sign up with Scentsy, you’ll be asked to choose a Sponsor — this could be the person who inspired you to join, a friend with their own Scentsy business or a Consultant in your area. No matter who they are, this person can be a great source of information and support, so don’t hesitate to reach out to them! Beyond your Sponsor, you’ll also be able to interact with other Consultants through our Facebook page. There, fellow Consultants are happy to share their experiences and offer their own perspectives to those just beginning their Scentsy journey. Who knows, maybe you’ll be the one offering advice to the next generation of Consultants some day?
